The Dowager Countess in an episode of Downton Abbey, asks the question "What is a weekend?". Life is feeling a bit unstructured these days, I still go to work at the clinic during the week, yet with all other activities shut down, it is much easier to understand the Dowager's query!
While preparing for walking the Camino Santiago, I read many books, guides, blogs to be informed, and ready for this adventure, I should mention my history as a Girl Scout, and Girl Scout leader! With Plan B activated, I am trying to hold on to as much of the Camino experience as I can, including carrying a backpack with some "supplies" in it. Of course, if I were walking across Spain, I would need clothes, and other supplies in the pack, here in Emerald Hills , I am filling my pack with bags of rice and beans, today's weight was 12 pounds.
One day soon, I will review the saga of hiking boots, so check in again !
